PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Forty
years ago a young lady accepted an invitation from her fifth grade teacher
to join a newly created King's Daughters and Sons Circle. Joining her
friends, she never imagined how involved she would become and the many
blessings she would reap from her membership in the Order. Gradually she
assumed responsibilities in her Circle, the Virginia Branch, and, ultimately,
at the International level. As you may have guessed, I was that young
lady. Saying yes to that initial invitation was a defining moment in my
life. Like all of you, I have found that the King's Daughters and Sons
has become one of the most important aspects of my life, blessing me with
opportunities for service and with friendships across North America.
