Mississippi Branch Convention The Willing Hearts Circle hosted the Mississippi Branch Convention in Brookhaven, MS. Their theme was "Good Works," and International President, Frances B. Sellew, was their guest speaker.
The convention attendees toured King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC), Silver Cross Home, and Kingsborough Apartments, all Mississippi Branch Projects connected through the Willing Hearts Circle. Pictured below at left are KDMC CEO, Alvin, and Mrs. Hoover (front), along with KDMC Board Member, Bill, and Mrs. Sones (back). Pictured below at right (from left to right) are KDMC Board Chairman and Willing Hearts Circle Member, Sherra Smith, followed by KDMC CFO, Dean Snider, and finally, Willing Hearts Circle Member, Sarah Foster.
Next we have Kingsborough
Apartments Manager, Mona Floyd (left), greeting Frances Sellew (right). The newly installed officers for the Mississippi Branch along with Frances Sellew appear below. In the front row, left to right, are Parliamentarian, Dott Cannon, Branch President, Tillie Mattox, Chautauqua Chairman, Sue Minter, International President, Frances Sellew, and Historian, Mary Jo Stoner. In the back row, left to right, are Student Ministry Chairman, Kay Miller, Secretary, Ellen Williamson, Vice-President, Billye Dendy, Treasurer, Beverly King, and Branch Project Chairman (as well as International Health Careers Scholarship Director), Joan Mangum.
