SCHOLARSHIPS Scholarships provided by the International Order of The Kings Daughters and Sons by Branches and by City Unions, are presented to students pursuing health careers, to theological students, to North American Indians for post-secondary education, and to Chautauqua Scholarship students. The Order owns a chapel at Chautauqua, with a Fellowship Hall and three houses which will accommodate 43 students and the staff.
THE CHAUTAUQUA EXPERIENCE Chautauqua is a unique walking community, filled with Victorian homes, an abundance of flowers, tree-lined streets, brick sidewalks and a friendly, safe atmosphere. No one can explain Chautauqua. It must be experienced to be appreciated or understood. Students who participate in the Order's four-week program receive the opportunity to grow spiritually and intellectually, develop Christian leadership skills, and share friendship with young and old alike. The "Chautauqua Experience" promises to be one of the most memorable and unique experiences of your life. MEALS ON WHEELS
The purpose of this program is to help the elderly, disabled and ill to remain self-sufficient at home by delivering nutritious meals at a reasonable cost and providing personal contact.

Working with other
Christians is very important to me, and the Order breaks down barriers
in ways that must be pleasing to the Heavenly Father of us all. My life
is certainly different from what it would have been if I had not joined
The King's Daughters and Sons. |
